Revealed: Sonakshi Sinha grooving to a Item number in ‘Joker’

  Till now we have seen her dance only at award functions. After being gaon ki ladki in Dabangg, actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen romancing Akshay Kumar in the comedy caper Joker. Sonakshi was keen to have a dance number in the film, but choreographer Farah Khan had different plans. But now, as we can see, Sonakshi is gyrating to a smashing number along with other cast members.

The track is not an item song but does get a special treatment from the makers. The song titled Dance Karle English Mein, Nach Le Hindi Mein has lyrics in ten languages, and the entire unit had a ball shooting for it, reveals Shirish Kunder.

It was a long cherished desire of Sonakshi to dance on big screen; she is excited and is quoted as saying, "I’m finally going to dance in Joker. I wouldn't call it an item song because I'm the film's heroine and item songs are performed by guest artists. But, I know it will be well shot and lavish and aesthetic because it’s being choreographed by Farah Khan.”

The song is set in a village and was shot in Chandigarh. Sonakshi is seen wearing desi clothes for most part of the film. For this song she has donned an ankle length red and gold lehenga, along with sexy backless choli and a dupatta. And yes, she is showing some dangerous moves too.
