Story :
Shankar Narayan(Prakash Raj) a good man who always serves poor enters in to politics with the message given by his favorite hero NTR.He warns a local illegal drug business man Kota srinivasa Rao and stops his medical business.This irks the main Don Nayar(Sonu Sood ) he threatens Shankar Narayan(prakash raj) not to disturb his business.While he doesn’t listen to his words Nayar tries to kill Shankar Narayan where he goes in to coma.Ajay (mahesh Babu) the son of Shankar Narayan(prakash raj) becomes an under cover cop and takes revenge on the goons who are all involved in his father killings.He saves his father Shankar Narayan who comes in to life after years in coma with out telling the incidents happend all these years.
Artist Performance:
Mahesh Babu is at his best one man show.He is really Dashing & Daring in looks,Dialogue delivery in telanga ascent is excellent,Entertainment scens with Samantha, Bramhanadam,M.S.Narayana fills with laughter in the theater.He is Energetic in action scenes and Dances.
Samantha is Cute her dances are good but not much space on screen she has done well.Prakash Raj as usual done his best for his role .Bramhanandam this time as a greedy house owner who falls in to Maheh trap once again will not disappoint you .M.S.Narayana as a aspirant who want to become a film hero is superb his show reel where he imitates Jr NTR,Ramcharan,Balakrishna is a non stop entertainer.Sonu sood as the Don once agian performed well.Dharamvarapu Subramanyam,Nazar,Vennela Kishore etc are good at their roles.
Analysis:
Director Srinu Vaitla and his team has done thier best for dhookudu project.The movie is partially inspired from the german movie GOOD BYE LENIN(partially is a polite way that it is being freemaked) and many scenes from Vytla's Ready,king and Bollywood' WELCOME,Mahesh telaangana slang is very similar to that of Sri Hari's in KING anyways First half is packed with entertainment and action with two good songs.Second half has entertainment but moves on the with story with two hit songs . Re Recording and music by Thaman is good.Action Scenes are composed well Screenplay is gripping and will not let your attention.

Weak storyline, Runtime,Samantha wasted,Master Bharath Comedy,Unnecessary scenes
Bottomline:DOOKUDU-- Outdated & Predictable Story , but Full on Entertainer...Mahesh's one man show all the way...First half was carried out well , second half is abit dragged with Vaitla's regular comedy giving way to some boredom. Climax was good in the end... Brahmi & M.S.N's comedy was good. No use of talking about Samantha's role :D
On a whole Movie is definitely one time watch for Normal Audience..
