Pawan Kalyan asked his creative team and director Harish Shankar to modify the original script of hindi hit movie Dabangg, so that it suits telugu nativity.
Dabangg has many masala and drama scenes which were already used heavily in south indian movies.
So, Pawan just wanted to keep the hero characterization same as Salman Khan played in the original, and change the rest of the story.
Krishnamraju and Jayasudha will be playing Pawan’s parents in this movie.
Srikanth or Nitin will play his brother’s role.
Sonu Sood will be playing villain’s role as he did in hindi flick.
Devisree Prasad will be composing music for Gabbar Singh.
Other cast and crew details will announced before this project goes on sets in second half of this year, after Pawan completes shooting for Vishnuvardhan’s SHADOW and is planned to release in early 2012.
