Charming actress of Telugu, Charmee Kaur is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood with Amitabh Bachchan starrer Buddah. Charmee is set to replace the role of Neha Sharma who ironically was introduced by Puri Jagannath in Telugu, said a source. “A certain Nagarjuna was responsible for Charmee to be in Buddah, considered to be a good friend of Nag, Charmee’s career in Telugu is going on and off, so Nag decided to make sure that Puri Jagannath [has good relations with Nag] ropes in Charmee for Buddah”, added the same source.
Incidentally Charmee did act in Ram Gopal Varma’s Telugu film Dongala Mutta [gang of thieves] which got completed in 4 and half days. Ramu is said to be Puri’s favorite filmmaker. Even though Ramu wanted to produce Buddah, things didn’t panned out as expected.
At present Buddah has Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon and Sonal Chauhan as female leads, wonder where Charmee fits into it?
But top Telugu actresses are in reckoning by the makers of Bollywood. Remember Kajal Agarwal [for Singham] and Ileana D’Cruz [for Barfee].
It is a good opportunity to charmee to show her talent. She is a wonderful actress. I like charmee very much.
